My studio is situated at 1.st floor in Building 66, in Hydroparken—a creativity and technology center in Notodden, Telemark, Norway.

My old studio had a fire in 2008, and all my equipment —collected over a period of over 20 years—was totally damaged by the fire and the smoke. When I build my new studio, I decided to go for a full digital solution. So, it is brand new, and completely based on digital technology, and with the help of ProTools and Samplitude, monitors and sub-bass from Adam, plugins from Massey, Trillium Lane, Sonnox Oxford, Izotope and Waves, among others, —and convolution technology like the Focusrite Liquid Mix, I can provide you with mixes that will make your songs shine, and make you smile.

I can't guarantee you a chart-listing or a record-deal, however, one song I Mixed & Mastered (with digital-only technology) in 2009, reached No. 13 on the Official Norwegian Singles Sales Chart, so with the results I deliver, it is possible.

As you know, 'It's not the gear—it's the ear!'
Still, there might be times where one would want analog processing. Letting the drums hit real 2 inch tape, and processing your vocal through a real Fairchild 660?

If you for any reason would want to have your songs processed by the 'real thing', I also work from the locally famous and award-winning Notodden studio 'Juke Joint Studio', doing recording, mixing, and processing.
The studio is in the neighboring building from my own studio, literally 50 meters away, and they have an large amount of famous analog gear, including a Fairchild 660, 2x Teletronics LA2A, Urei 1176 LN, Urei 1178, RCA BA6A, 2x Pultec MEQ5, a Pultec EQPIA, EMT 140 mono, EMT 140 stereo, and lots of more, including the great sounding mixing board, the Auditronics 501 'Son of 36 Grands' with the inscription 'Property of Stax Studio, Memphis' — yes, it looks like it used to be in the Stax Studio back in the old days ...

You can also look at a video recorded there in May 2010, made by the National Norwegian Broadcast Company, NRK, it's available at their web page.
They made a lengthy radio programme about the studio, and they also made an article about it on their web, and they also made a video from some live blues playing in the studio.

I was the engineer, and you can see me shortly in the beginning of the video, and I'm also quoted on the web page:  http://www.nrk.no/kultur_og_underholdning/1.7174621http://www.nrk.no/kultur_og_underholdning/1.7174621
